In the third game of the final day at the 2017 Indi World Championships, Seattle Rotary Style rebounded from yesterday’s loss with a 52-41 win against the New York Dragons. Led by Shane Nowell’s game-high 13 points, Rotary Style was able to dominate the second half, outscoring the Dragons 35-20. Jalen Hammonds was the leading scorer for the Dragons but was plagued by turnovers, giving the ball up five times. In addition to Nowell, Isaac Ticeson also finished in double-figures with 10 points.
The Dragons struggled with turnover issues in this game, finishing with 23 turnovers as opposed to Rotary Style’s just 11 giveaways. This game was played mostly in the paint with the Dragons outscoring Seattle Rotary 36-28. Nolan Hickman hit the only three pointer of the game and finished with seven points and five assists.
Seattle Rotary advances to the championship game against Vegas Elite.
