The Grizzlies Select Basketball Association will provide a positive environment of growth for those students in grades five through eight who demonstrate advanced physical basketball skills and a positive mental attitude. The following will be stressed:
Increased basketball skills and knowledge
Having fun
Good sportsmanship
Teamwork
Good work ethic
High self-esteem
The program will work with knowledgeable community members and school coaches to help develop athletes with potential for state level competitive play by their high school years. GSBA is a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers.
Grizzlies Select Basketball Association (GSBA) is an organization dedicated to the development of young athletes for the future Glacier Peak High School basketball teams. There is one team at each grade level (5, 6, 7, and 8) for both boys and girls in the fall. Teams are selected by a committee made up of coaches and board members. The coach of the team is only one of a team of people selecting the teams. Our season runs from the beginning of October through the first week of March. Practices will start about October 21st.
