Skyy Clark MSHTV Camp

At the 2015 MSHTV Camp Skyy Clark showed that he belonged amongst the nation's top players in the Class of 2022.  The camp was filled with big names and highly ranked players including Bryce Griggs, Jaden Bradley, Mason Manning, Jaylen Drane, Chris Livingston, Amari Bailey and many other talented 6th graders.  Skyy Clark being from the West Coast hadn't received the amount of attention that players in other areas of the country and came into the event without the reputation that some other players had.

The Class of 2022 prospect showed quickly that he had as much talent as anyone at the camp.  Skyy hit the boards relentlessly and got a lot of put back baskets inside.  Far from one dimensional on the offensive end, Clark knocked down three point shots consistently throughout the weekend in Indianapolis.   While many would settle for creating offense for themselves the California kid was also a willing passer.

The bottom line is that while the East Coast bias is a real thing when it comes to youth basketball rankings, a great performance in front of the right people can catapult a player to a new level.  After playing well in front of scouts from around the country at the MSHTV Camp he used the event as a spring board and had a great EBC West Camp.   This kind of consistent high level play has made Skyy Clark a national name and he is finally getting the respect he deserves.
