Two of the nation's top players squared off at the 2016 NightRydas Elite Invitational when the Vick 4 Kids program faced the NightRydas Elite squad. Christian Jones runs with the NightRydas and showed off a ridiculous handle and went on an amazing three point shooting streak during the contest. Brooklyn Vick was a smooth, steady force throughout the game as he created for teammates in a very mature manner.
Both Brooklyn Vick and Christian Jones are featured amongst the top players in the Class of 2024 Basketball Rankings from multiple websites. This highly anticipated match up definitely lived up to the hype as both players turned in big time performances. The pressure was on, but Vick got off to a quick start with his penetration and dish off play working throughout the game. Christian Jones heated up late in the first half and hit several astounding three point shots both with his feet set and off the dribble. While Jones was carrying his team offensively by scoring, Vick mixed his attack between dishing out assists and scoring for himself.
In the end the NightRydas onslaught of offense was too much for Vick 4 Kids to withstand and Christian Jones won the team victory. As for the head to head match up you can't help but respect both of these kids for accepting the challenge of facing big time players and stepping up instead of shrinking from the challenge. No matter where you rank these two in comparison to each other, the game they had playing against each other showed that both players deserve their reputation amonst the top kids in the Class of 2024 Basketball Rankings.
