The FINAL 17U Spring Rankings are here! We have had a chance to follow some of the best AAU Youth Basketball Teams in the country throughout the spring circuit season. Ranking these teams was tough because of the increasing amount of quality clubs. Without further ado, here are the explanations behind the:
1. Team Breakdown (Florida)

About Team Breakdown:
Our #1 ranked 17U team is led by 3 outstanding guards. 4 star Point Guard Elijah Weaver has college offers from Villanova, Florida, Louisville, and Ohio State. Combo Guard Anfernee Simons committed to Rick Pitino’s Louisville Cardinals last November. PG Tai Strickland has picked up offers from both Boston College and South Florida.
2. Compton Magic (Compton, CA)

About Compton Magic:
The Compton Magic have churned out talent over the years from potential lottery picks Ike Anigbogu and TJ Leaf to McDonalds All-American Jaylen Hands. This year’s 17U team features two exceptional Point Guards, four 4-star Forwards, and a top 10 Center in the class of 2019. Starting with the Point Guards, Jarod Lucas was a Pangos All-American with scholarships from UNLV and Tulane. Jovan Blacksher Jr. was no slouch, as has received offers from Fresno State and North Dakota. Forwards Isaiah Mobley and Timmy Allen have received interest from Pac-12 programs UCLA, Cal, and Arizona State. Small Forward Jules Bernard is a top 60 player in the class of 2018 and can choose from lucrative programs such as Kansas, UCLA, and Oregon. Small Forward Harrison Butler from powerhouse Mater Dei High School is rated as a 4 star recruit by ESPN. Compton Magic’s Center Onyeka Okongwu is ESPN’s 8th ranked player in the class of 2019. The 5 star player holds scholarship offers from local schools UCLA and USC.
3. Earl Watson Elite (Los Angeles, CA)

What they did last week: Went 3-1 and lost to We R 1 by 20 points.
About Earl Watson Elite:
Earl Watson Elite is led by 9th ranked 2019 Cassius Stanley who recently announced he’s leaving Harvard-Westlake to attend Sierra Canyon High School in the fall. The 5 star Shooting Guard has been offered by Gonzaga, UCLA, and Oregon. Earl Watson Elite features a lethal offense that led the Under Armour Circuit with .908 points per possession. 4 star Power Forward Miles Norris is headed to Eugene to play a the University of Oregon next season. A player to look out for is 4 star Center Riley Battin. Battin averaged 25 pts and 5 rebounds per game as a junior last season.
4. Team Loaded Virginia (Petersburg, VA)

Team Loaded Virginia truly features a “loaded” squad with six players projected to play at a Power 5 Division I college. 6’10 Center David McCormack is ranked as the #34 player in the class of 2018 by ESPN and has offers from Kansas, Louisville, and Virginia. Forwards Kiyon Boyd, Armando Bacot and Oscar Tshiebwe could meet up in the Big-12, as they collectively hold offers from Kansas, Baylor, and West Virginia. Last but not least, Point Guards Rasir Bolton (Clemson, Virginia Tech, VCU) and Jaelin Llewellyn (Florida, Cincinnati, and Ohio State) have the opportunity to play at the Division I level.
5. Sports U (Fairfield, NJ)

About Sports U:
Sports U is led by 5 star Power Forward Nazreon Reid. Reid has offers from Kansas, Louisville, Villanova, and Wichita State. Reid is ranked #11 in the class of 2018. Sports U’s offense is powered by 5 star Point Guard Jahvon Quinerly. Quinerly is ranked 21st in ESPN’s Top 60 and has narrowed his college decision to UCLA, Kansas, Arizona, Villanova, Virginia, Seton Hall, and Stanford.
6. Game Elite 2019 (Powder Springs, GA)

About Game Elite:
Game Elite’s team is centered around 5 star PG Ashton Hagans who has offers from Kansas, Florida, and UConn. 247 sports has him ranked as the #13 player in class of 2019. Power Forward Jaylin Williams unofficially visited Auburn on June 4.
7. Each 1 Teach 1 (Polk County, FL)

About Each 1 Teach 1:
Each 1 Teach 1 (E1T1) is led by superstar Power Forward Emmitt Williams. The 5 star recruit is ESPN’s #7 player in the country. Williams holds offers from prestigious programs Duke, Kansas, and Florida. 6’6 Shooting Guard Antwann Jones is the 17th ranked player in the country and has been offered by South Carolina, Dayton, and Memphis. Lastly, combo guard Will Richardson will have a choice to play basketball at either Alabama, Butler, or Texas A&M.
8. Mass Rivals (Boston, MA)

9. Howard Pulley (Minneapolis, MN)

What they did last week: 2-2 lost to Pro Skills Academy and The Phamily
About Howard Pulley:
The Minnesota based club finished the Nike EYBL season with a 13-3 record. Last week, PG Tre Jones was named the EYBL Offensive Player of the Year. Averaged 19 Points 8 Assists and 5 Rebounds. Jones scored 31 points and dished out 17 assists in a win over Houston Hoops and holds offers from Duke, UCLA, Arizona, and Oregon. Power Forward Daniel Oturu chose Minnesota over Kansas, Creighton, and Nebraska. There are no shortage of quality Point Guards on this club, as Jarvis Thomas has scholarship offers from Iowa State, Arizona State, and Pittsburgh.
10. We R 1 (Trenton, NJ)

What they did last week: Went 2-2 and lost to Boston Amateur Basketball Club (BABC) and Expressions Elite.
About We R 1:
We R 1 features three solid guards who will contribute at the Division I level in the future. Point Guard Eric Ayala is a 4 star recruit with offers from Syracuse, Arizona, Cincinnati, Indiana, and Maryland. Shooting Guard Tyrese Martin will have the opportunity to play at either Utah, Minnesota, or Rhode Island. PG Isaiah Wong has offers from east coast programs Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, and Temple.
11. Team Thad (Memphis, TN)

Mokan Elite was home to class of 2017 All-Americans Michael Porter Jr. and Trae Young. Michael’s brother Jontay has committed to play with him at the University of Missouri. Jontay is the 25th ranked player in the class of 2018. SG Cooper Kaifes holds offers from Missouri Valley teams Missouri State and Drake. Combo Guard Israel Barnes has offers from Texas Tech, Tulsa, and Pennsylvania. SF Malik Hall has a chance to stay in the midwest at either Oklahoma, Northwestern, Iowa, and Texas A&M.
13. New England Playaz (Massachusetts)

The Playaz best player is SF Nate Laszewski who has scholarships from big time programs Villanova, Baylor, Texas, and Miami. C Lukas Kisunas is a 4 star recruit who has been offered by Pittsburgh.
14. Team Ramey (St. Louis, MO)

About Team Ramey:
PG Courtney Ramey led the Adidas Euro Camp with 6 assists per game. The 4 star recruit committed to play at Louisville in February. SG Torrence Watson has narrowed his college list to Michigan, Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Missouri Butler, Creighton, Marquette, and St Louis.
15. CP3 All-Stars (Greensboro, NC)

About the CP3 All-Stars:
The CP3 All-Stars feature a unique array of talent, as there are five Division I guards and a future Virginia Tech football player on the team. Roy Williams secured both Coby White and Rechon “Leaky” Black to play for the TarHeels in 2o18. SG Trey Wertz has offers from Virginia Tech and Pennsylvania and John Newman holds offers from Virginia, Wake Forest, and Clemson. SG Tre Turner is a 4 star Wide Receiver and will try to play for the Virginia Tech Hokies football and basketball teams in 2018. Last but not least, SF Jaylen Hoard has his choice of either Kansas, Cal, Oklahoma State, or Maryland.
16. Bradley Beal Elite (St. Louis, MO

About Bradley Beal Elite:
Bradley Beal’s team is led by 5 star PG Darius Garland. Garland is the 13th ranked player in the class of 2018 and has offers from powerhouse programs such as Duke, Kansas, UCLA, Louisville, Florida, and Baylor. SG Fred Thatch Jr committed to Saint Louis in January. Power Forwards EJ Liddell and Francis Okoro will both end up playing for a Power 5 basketball program. Small Forwards Jericole Hellems (offered by Indiana) and Karrington Davis (offers from Kansas State and Saint Louis) both have a chance to stay near home in the midwest.
17. Florida Vipers (Deerfield Beach, FL)

The Florida Vipers are led by two outstanding Power Forwards. 6’9 Silvio De Sousa is a top 20 player in the class of 2018. De Sousa is considering Florida, Louisville, Maryland, and LSU. 6’7 Darius Days has been offered by Kansas, Virginia, Cincinnati, and Oklahoma.
18. All Ohio Red (Columbus, OH)

Tom Izzo has kept his eye on this team, as PG Foster Loyer and PF Thomas Kithier have committed to play for him at Michigan State. Shooting Guard Dane Goodwin will join them in the Big 10, as he committed to Ohio State 3 months into his Freshman year of High School. 4 star SF Jordan Mitchell has a chance to play alongside Goodwin at Ohio State as well as at Florida and Xavier. Lastly, PG Vincent Williams has been offered by Wichita State, the newest addition to the American Athletic Conference.
19. Boo Williams (Hampton, VA)

Boo Williams is wing heavy, as there are 4 Shooting Guard/Small Forwards projected to play at the Division I level. Keldon Johnson is the star of the group as the 18th ranked player in the class of 2018. 4 star SF Aundre Hyatt has been offered by Oregon, USC, and LSU. SG Elijah McCadden has offers from Wake Forest and Western Kentucky. Last but certainly not least, 4 star SF Keyontae Johnson holds scholarships from Minnesota, Texas Tech, and Georgia Tech.
20. California Supreme (Los Angeles, CA)

California Supreme is STACKED with talent. The team features two 5 star players ranked in ESPN’s top 40. 5 star Shareef O’Neal, son of Shaquille O’Neal, is the 19th ranked player in the class of 2018 and is headed to the University of Arizona. 7’1 Bol Bol, son of Manute Bol, is the 40th ranked player and has offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Oregon, UCLA, and Arizona. 5 star Point Guard Brandon Williams will join O’Neal in Tucson in 2018.
21. DC Premier (Washington, DC)

About DC Premier:
DC Premier has two excellent 4 star players in SG Prentiss Hubb and PF/C Jermaine Harris. Hubb committed to Notre Dame last month and Harris has drawn offers from Miami, Georgetown, Cincinnati, and West Virginia.
