About Florida Future:

Florida Future is focused on teaching and training young boys and girls in the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on preparing them for the next level of play in middle school, high school, and hopefully college. We have assembled some of the finest athletes in Southwest Florida and are constantly searching for tomorrow’s superstars. We would like to emphasize that we develop our own players and currently have 150 talented young boys and girls, who are both academically and athletically eligible to play. Our athletes currently range in age from 5 – 17.

Interview with Coach Arthur Cedeno:

How did you first hear about the Indi World Championships?

I heard of Indi World at NYBL. One of the coaches recommended for us to play the Indi World Championship.

How do San Diego tournaments compare to those in other parts of the country?

We haven’t played in the western part of the Country but Social media exposure seems great and I could definitely say the organization of Indi World Championship seems to be very well done.

What excites you the most about playing in the Indi World Championships?

We are excited to play the best competition in the country.  We are a team from one area Ft Myers, Fl and we are excited to represent SWFL.

Who are some of your top players?

Alan Cedeno, Javian McCollum are top point guards in the state of Florida that can stretch the floor with their great Shooting. Both have a high basketball IQ.

Ahmod Watkins is a slasher with a great vertical.  Chase Garrett and Tre Carroll are top forwards in the state of Florida.

What separates your team from the rest of the AAU teams out there?

We are a fundamentally sound team.  All of our kids can play basketball at a high-level and high IQ.  We dont have a one star player.  We have are a complete team.
