After an exciting weekend two 14u teams have punched their ticket to the Indi World Championships that will take place in San Diego from August 3-5. The Indi North Regionals were hosted by The Rock. The top teams from the north region played to determine the north region representatives in the Indi World Championships.
After a long and hard fought tournament, Hoops Avenue and Motor City Bad Boys have earned an automatic bid to the Indi World Championships. Hoops Avenue defeated Motor City Bad Boys in the championship game 77-70.
Hoops Avenue went 3-0 in pool play by defeating DC Raptors (68-51), Wisconsin Academy (60-30), and Triple Threat Assassins (79-20). In bracket play, they defeated Team 1 Tyus (61-40) and Motor City Bad Boys in the Championship (77-70).
The Motor City Bad Boys went 3-0 in pool play by defeating the Iowa Mavericks (61-22), Wisconsin Playmakers (72-52), and Flight Basketball (72-49). In bracket play, they beat the Wisconsin Roadrunners (64-58) but lost to Hoops Avenue (70-77) in the Championship game.
