1. Bishop Gorman 2015, Big Fella Chase Jeter will attend Duke. He announced his decision at the last event of the year, Adidas Nations in Long Beach.
2. Findlay Prep guard Allonzo Trier committed to Arizona, Sean Miller is staking a serious claim when it comes to landing elite national talent.
3. 2015, elite SF, Cam Walker ( Righetti ) made his pledge to Stanford. Walker is one of the top wings in the country. The dynamic SF has a cerebral understanding of the game, looks to be a key component for the Cardinal in 2015.
4. Huntington Prep (W.V.) small forward Montaque Gill-Caesar will play for Mizzou this season. A top-50 player in the country, Gill-Caesar has signed a financial aid agreement with the Tigers after reclassifying from the class of 2015.
5. 2015 Ray Smith ( Las Vegas HS ) committed to Arizona. It is possible Smith could be side lined by an ACL injury for entire senior season.
6. As questions arise about the legitimacy and course work at Prime Prep. ’14 Prime Prep PG Emmanuel Muiday will forge college (SMU) to play in China. Muiday cites financial hardship as the reason to not attend college and go to work overseas.
7. Via Eric Sodheimer of LA Times, Chance Comanche a dynamic 6-foot-10 senior PF at View Park Prep is transferring to Beverly Hills.
8. Elite 2015 Big Fella, Daniel Giddens (Wheeler HS) will play his senior season under Steve Smith at Oak Hill Academy. Look for Giddens to expand his game, take more of a leadership roll at the storied prep power in Virginia.
9. 2016 consensus Top 5 player, Josh Jackson ( Consortium) is looking at greener pastures, on the west coast. Jackson has eluded to attending a California HS to finish his final two years of competition. A number of national reports have Jackson considering a move to the Wine Country. It’s possible Justin-Siena (Napa) and a high level prep outfit, could be viable landing spots for the elite G-F.
10. Tyler Dorsey (St. John Bosco) & Trevor Stanback ( Chaminade ) are transferring to Maranatha (Pasadena). The guard / big man combo will be one of the most imposing one, two punches in the state, possibly the nation. Look for Maranatha to compete for a State chip in CA this upcoming season.
11. Sweet shooting USC commit, SF Bennie Boatwright ( Village Christian) & AZ commit Justin Simon (Temecula Valley) finished their grassroots careers with Dream Vision instead of GP Elite at Adidas Super 64. The tandem, with assistance from Chase Jeter (Duke commit), Solomon Young (Sac HS) and Paris Austin (BOD) managed to get to the championship of the event before losing to a smooth stroking & unfettered Indiana Elite squad.
