Seattle Select took down Florida Future in the 2017 IndiWorldChampionships by a score of 73-66 in a highly contested matchup. With three players in double figures, Seattle Select was able to hold off a Florida Future attack led by Alan Cedeno who finished the game with 24 points. JT Tuimoloau was the star for Seattle Select finishing with a 18 point, 13 rebound double-double. He also added six assists and four steals. Omari Maulana finished the game with 16 points, three assists and three steals, while John Christofilis had 15 points for the Select.
After leading by two at the half, Florida Future faded in the second half, being outscored 47-38. Despite being outscored heavily in the second half, Florida Future still shot 60.7 percent from the field in the half. Seattle Select also had Noah Pepper and Griffin Knowles have efficient games. Pepper finished with 9 points, while Knowles finished with 8. After a near defeat in the last round against Vegas Elite, Seattle Select has had their fair share of close one’s in this tournament.
