In the first game of the second day at the 2017 IndiWorld Championships, Seattle Select took down the San Diego Slayers by a score of 53-31 in a blowout victory. JT Tuimoloau who was an MVP of the first day, had an underwhelming performance with 6 points and 4 rebounds. However, Omari Maulana was able to pick up the slack, scoring a game high 16 points, going 6-8 from the field. Maulana was the only player in the game to finish in double-figures.
Seattle Select took a 28-13 lead into the half and never looked back, outscoring the Slayers 25-18 in the second half. The difference in the game was largely due to the field goal shooting, which saw Seattle Select shoot 51.1 percent from the field, while the Slayers shot 31.8 percent. Seattle Select was also able to outrebound the Slayers 32-23, ultimately coming away victorious.
