Vegas Elite was narrowly able to escape Seattle Rotary Style in the 2017 Indi World Championships by a score of (score). Seattle Rotary was able to hit a three with 15.6 seconds left to cut the deficit to one but with Zion Collins’ clutch free throw to finish off the game, Vegas Elite won 59-58. Collins was clearly the star of this game, scoring a game-high 21 points on 7-9 shooting. He also had a game-high four steals.
Rotary shot the ball better throughout the game but poor free throw shooting plagued Seattle Rotary Style. Paolo Banchero had a solid game for Seattle Rotary with a 13 point, 12 rebound double-double. Vegas Elite had three players score in double figures with Will McClendon and Richard Isaacs, in addition to Collins.
Forcing 18 turnovers, Vegas Elite's menacing defense was no match for Seattle Rotary as Vegas Elite advances.
