Vegas Elite defeated Seattle Select 55-54, advancing to play the ATX Knights, in another suspenseful game. The game was close throughout with 10 lead changes and seven ties. JT Tuimoloau was the star of the game with 18 points and 17 rebounds but wasn’t able to lead his team to victory. On the winning side, Will McClendon finished the game with 14 points, while Vegas Elite had three players finish in double figures.
This was a very well-matched game with both teams finishing with 33 rebounds, each having 15 offensive and 18 defensive rebounds. The largest lead of the game came in the first when Seattle Select went up by eight but it wasn’t enough. Vegas Elite showed a great ability to share the ball with 14 assists in the game, in comparison to Seattle Select’s mere eight assists. This has been the closest game of the tournament so far.
