Indihoops Shoe Review  - Jordan XII ‘WINGS’

Brett Hershman - Indihoops Staff Writer

Indihoops was able to test out some of the most coveted shoes on the market right now, the Jordan XII ‘Wings’.   Released in April 2016, the Jordan XII 'Wings' is a very limited release with only 12,000 made.

This specific pair is a Black/White/ Metallic Gold colorway, and the each pair is numbered on the inside of the sole making each pair one of a kind.   The Jordan ‘Wings’ is a charity release that benefits the to the Wings for the Future foundation, a charity that provides support to Adult victims of Child Abuse.

Because of the limited availability of the shoe, pairs of the shoe are selling for much higher than the retail price of $225 that the Jordan XII Wings originally sold for. The limited release and hype surrounding the XII Wings is the Jordan brands answer to Adidas Yeezy Boosts.

Much like Kanye’s very popular release, Pairs of the XII ‘Wings’ have sold for as much as $10,000 on EBay. The shoes were initially available thru a lottery draw system on Nike’s SNKRS app.

The Jordan XII by itself is already one of the best basketball shoes ever made.  This particular color way out does itself, with a very sharp black and white contrast giving the shoe a really clean look.

A unique feature of the Wings is it's secret detail, when rubbed the upper portion of the shoe has a golden wipe away material, a characteristic that we have not seen on any other Jordan shoe model.  The metallic gold accents on the shoe is the icing on the cake, and ensures that no one will have a better looking pair than the ones your rocking’.
