Jr HoopHall Classic West – IndiWorld3 West Qualifier

Next up in our IndiWorld Championship 8th grade basketball tournaments is the Jr HoopHall Classic West in Arizona.  We are excited to see some top teams we are familiar with, as well as some new class of 2022 teams wanting to burst on the scene at this event.  The Jr. Hoophall Classic is a part of the HoopHall Classic.

2 games this Friday will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network:

3:30 PM Oak Hill Academy, VA vs. Lone Peak High School, UT   

5:15 PM Shadow Mountain High School, AZ vs. Chino Hills High School, CA

Shadow Mountain High School features the Red Mamba and good friend of IndiHoops – Nico Mannion a top player in the class of 2020.

 

The tournament is put on by one of our tournament operator members, Justin Peterson of Just4Hoopin.

Just wrapped an unreal west qualifier the Cavs Holiday Classic where Team Dream won the event and currently has a 68.57 IndiWorld3 score with their 6-1 record.

Some serious heat at this event!  Bluechip Nation played at the Fall Classic in San Diego – and has a few very nice prospects.  Excited to see who emerged.

This tournament will have big implications for our west Class of 2022 Top 50 rankings coming out December 15th, the point system for IndiWorld3 as well as class of 2022 player rankings coming January 15th, 2018.

• Notes: Give N Go is coming off a nice championship victory over Gamepoint, who is one of the top teams in the west for 2022.  Let’s see if they ride the momentum from their victory at Ron Coleman’s Southwest Classic.
• Excited to see some talent from the El Paso, Texas area.
• We expect a sleeper team and player to emerge from this event.  *Qualifiers are “AAU Basketball Tournaments” that are within the IndiWorld championship circuit.  The IndiWorld is an 8th grade basketball rite of passage.   Each game has ranking and point system implication.  Players have a chance to improve their rankings and most importantly, a chance to compete in the eventual IndiWorld championship.

The next west qualifier after the Jr Hoop Hall Event event is the Top Gun Winter Challenge in San Diego January 6-7, 2018.

Your club on IndiHoops will usually outperform your own website.  If your club is listed on IndiHoops, but you don’t have ownership of it and want to edit your club.

Step 1 – Go to www.indihoops.com/aau-boys-basketball-clubs

Step 2 – Find your club.

Step 3 – You will now see a “Claim Your Club” on the left hand side.  Click on it and fill out the info.

Step 4 – After we approve your submission, you can then log in, go to your club, and an edit option will now appear!

You can now update your information, update your logo, enter your roster…for starters.
