After being the only team from the state of Florida to medal, finishing 14th at last years 8th grade/14u D1 AAU Nationals. You would think the Kings of the Court 2018/15u squad headed into the 1st Annual Florida Vipers Under Armour Florida Showcase as the prohibited favorite. That was not the case, as highly touted shoe company teams stocked full of talent from across South Florida were garnering all the attention. But in what has become the standard over the last 3 years the 2018/15u ran through the competition undefeated winning the tournament in convincing fashion reestablishing themselves as the #1 15u team in the state of Florida.
While not receiving the hype of many teams in the state, Kings of the Court 2018 roster is stock full of talent and upcoming players looking to make their mark on the national scene.
Here are some of the names to keep an eye on for the future:
Marques Spann a long athletic PG who can get to the basket at will and finsh, While using his long wing span to stifle opposing offensive players on the defensive end.
Eddie Davis is a PF with great footwork and a solid mid range game,
Tim Taylor is a smooth yet rugged SF who is extremely active on both the offensive and defensive boards.
Bryan Henry an ultra quick guard who can knock down the open shot
Next week the team heads to Disney for the 2015 AAU Easter Classic looking to continue its dominance.
