About Vegas Elite: 

The Vegas Elite Basketball Club is the premier youth basketball program for the development of boys and girls in Southern Nevada.  Founded in 2007, Vegas Elite has quickly become the largest youth basketball organization in the state of Nevada with boys and girls members aged 5 to 17 years old. The primary purpose of The Club is to provide a platform for the youth of Las Vegas to achieve excellence in the sport of basketball.  Through intense training, exceptional coaching, competitive experiences, and educational mentoring, Elite members are given the very best opportunity to maximize his/her potential and reach their basketball and educational goals.

How did you first hear about the Indi World Championships? 

Brian Hershman called me and asked me to play.

 

Have you ever played in a tournament in San Diego before? 

The actual tournament is very similar to any other tournament, the city of San Diego is one of the nicest places to go in the U.S., so it makes for a nice destination to play.

 

What excites you the most about playing in the Indi World Championships? 

Competing against teams from all over the country.

 

Who are some of your top players? 

Zaon Collins- 6′-0 Bishop Gorman High School

Will McClendon- 6’3 Bishop Gorman High School

Max Allen– 6’5 Class of 2022

 

What separates Vegas Elite from the rest of the AAU teams out there? 

We are typically much smaller than most teams so we play a very fast paced style and shoot a lot of 3’s.

 

If you could describe the Vegas Elite program and players in one word, what would it be?
