Grassroots basketball is back. I am so tired of hearing about Lebron and Melo and how many points U.S.A. need to go to the knockout stage. Since I last spoke to you, grassroots basketball took a back seat to high school and individual camps. A lot of these elite players,hadn’t slept in their own bed in over 2 months. However,July is special.These 3 weeks in July are the equivalent of the NCAA tournament in March. Tournaments all over the country. College coaches will be in those gyms looking for their next star. High school players, this is your time to make yourself known to these coaches.Without further delay, here is the LIVE PERIOD 1 ITINERARY

EAST

The Showdown-Philaedphia will be hosting the Reebok Breakout Classic also.Atlanta Xpress,Upward Stars,Las Vegas Knicks,and SC Raptors will be in the building

Basketball Summer Championship- top teams in the New England states

SOUTH( the south will hot in all 3 live periods)

TEXAS- Lonestar Challenge,George McClellan Invitational will be hosting all the top TX teams

MYRTLE BEACH- Big Shots 1 and 2 will host some great teams All Ohio Red,Team Loaded DC,Lousiana Dynasty, and Team Felton will be attending

Battle of the Best Atlanta- Florida Vipers,New Orleans Elite,Carolina Wolves.This is just a primer for next week’s Peach State Showcase.

Best of The South- 64 of the South’s best teams will be in Suwanee.Perhaps the top tournament of the 1st period

Elite 32 Session 1 and 2- Marietta,Georgia is the site of these showcases. One of the most underrated events out there. Team Thad,Lousiana Elite,CP3 and my team Rome Elite will be in the building.

MIDWEST

Adidas Invitational- Once again,this will be one of the top tournaments all summer.With the emergence of the Adidas league,this tournament want have the same quality teams.With over 100 teams again,it will have the quantity

Ny2la Invitational- top event for Minnesota and Wisconsin teams

Mullen Tournament- 32 teams in the St.Louis/Kansas City area. KC RUN GMC,Team Nashville,MoKan Elite

Chicago- Chicago Summer Challenge and Chicago Summer Jam- teams from the Illni state. also the Adidas Camp will be in Chicago.

WEST

Lebron James Skills Academy- top 80 high school and top 30 college players in America

NW Premier Hoops Showcase- top teams in the Northwest.Another tournament that goes under the radar. Anthony Davis Idaho Select,Seattle Rotary,Team Bradley NW panthers are top teams in the event.
