Malik Clements 6’3 Shooting Guard from Madison, Wisconsin class of 2014. Malik plays for the Madison Spartans. Here is is his personal breaksdown of his last AAU Basketball experience. Malik is not a big Twitter guy, because he claims “Time being spent on twitter he can be getting shots up.” Smart guy.
Malik: This AAU season was a great season for me and many of my teammates. Going into the circuit, I was not really on the radar of any Colleges. However, when colleges saw me compete against other top players in the nation, interest started to form. Nebraska, Omaha, and Chadron State have offered, and interest started from Chicago State, UWGB, UC Irvine, Northern Iowa and many others. My best personal AAU basketball game with the Madison Spartans was when I was matched up with one of the Darrel Davis from Reach Legends.
Darrell is one of the best guards in the country and one of the best players I’ve ever had to guard, but I feel I defended him well and I scored 25 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, and most importantly: A win. My team and I struggled a bit this AAU season due to a lack of our height, but we still managed to win 3 championships and make it to the semi’s in many big time tournaments.
I enjoyed following Indihoops this year as well. Best of luck to you guys!
Thank you Malik Clements!
