Marjon Beauchamp Takes MVP at EBC Washington

Marjon Beauchamp is a Class of 2020 prospect from Yakima, Washington who has gone relatively unnoticed by most national basketball blogs and ranking sites.  The 8th grader from the Pacific Northwest has as much potential as many of the highly ranked players that have caught the eye of middle school taste makers.  At the 2016 EBC Washington event held in Seattle, Beauchamp showed a combination of production and potential that was undeniable.

The 6’1 eighth grader has an effortless three point release and consistently connected on deep threes both off the dribble and with his feet set.  Marjon is comfortable with the ball in his hands as a scorer and a distributor.  His vision makes him a very dangerous player on the offensive side of the ball.  As he adds strength and athleticism, Beauchamp could become an unstoppable force.

The Elite Basketball Circuit is on a tour of the West Coast and so far this year Marjon Beauchamp has been one of the best prospects that MSHTV has seen.  Kevin Durant is the player that Beauchamp fashions his game after and it’s an easy comparison to make.  A lanky kid with the ability to step out and knock down deep threes and his overall on court demeanor are both characteristics that resemble the NBA superstar.  This is a lofty goal, but one thing is for sure – If you aren’t familiar with the name Marjon Beauchamp, it’s time to get familiar.
