About New York Dragons:

The New York Dragons Basketball program is built around the philosophy that the primary goal of any recreational sport is for the kids to learn the sport and have fun. We believe they can do this best when they are taught the fundamentals of the game and when each player is given an opportunity to participate in an environment that encourages and even demands good sportsmanship. Competition is an integral and essential part of all sports and we encourage it. Winning championships however, is not nor will it ever be in the future, the emphasis of this program.

How did you first hear about the Indi World Championships?

We heard about Indi World Championships from Instagram and we won the east regional championships.

How do San Diego tournaments compare to those in other parts of the country?

We believe that level of competition will compare to some of the big tournaments we have been to.

What excites you the most about playing in the Indi World Championships?

Being able to compete against some of the best teams in the country excites the coaches and the players.

What separates your team from the rest of the AAU teams out there?

Our team love to play with each other and don't mind sacrificing for the betterment of the team.
