It's that time again folks. Club/travel basketball is back for the 2017 summer evaluation period. Coaches, parents, players, are making last minute hotel reservations ,taking days away from work, and checking their bank accounts to be ready for these 3 weeks in July. Part 1 of our Summer Hoops Preview, I'm going to disucss where you need to be for the first live period.
HOT SPOTS( GEORGIA-SOUTH CAROLINA)
The 3 big names in travel ball, will all invade GA and SC. The UAA finals will take place at the Lakepoint Sports Complex July 12-15. All of the under armour teams and under armour affiliated teams will be at this event.Nike will return to Augusta for the Peach Jam ,as well as The Adidas Gauntlet will be about 25 mins up the road in Spartanburg. While the shoe companies battle it out to see who is king, other big events are taking place around the BIG 3. Elite 32 will take place at Allatoona High.Shun Williams puts on some great events with ON THE RADAR HOOPS. Eric Eleton and Hoopseen will host the Hoopseen Summer 64 in Suwanee while Phenom Hoops entertains the Summer Havoc. Dameon Key with lineage of champions, will probably hold the biggest event of all.The Peach State Summer Showcase. This is always one of the biggest events in the summer.Most of these events will host the shoe company teams once they are disqualified from their shoe events.
