Over the last 4 years, Shun Williams has been a major fixture in the AAU basketball scene. He has put some of the top events in the south on display, with well over 100 college coaches attending his events. This past spring, he teased you with his Sweet 16 events held in McEachern and at Mays High. Some of the top teams were at his event. Delray Blazers, Bledsoe Ice,Georgia Kings,Rome Elite(thats my team), Georgia Stars, etc. College coaches from all levels were at his event. This upcoming weekend, he will host one of the top junior tournaments in the country, '' The Atlanta Invitational''. Shun and on the radar hoops also put on some top fall camps for your rising high school players. Here is what Shun and his staff will have going on in the month of July.
ELITE 32 SESSION 1 JULY 8-9
If you looking for a good showcase event before you go to another event the remaining of the 1st period, this is the place to be. College coaches will be in town while the Adidas Gauntlet going on. This event will be at Maynard Jackson High
ELITE 32 SESSION 2 JULY 10-12
This event last year was the talk of the AAU world. Team Thad, CP3, Young Legends, Hoop Dreams, Louisiana Elite, and Southern Stampede were some of the teams in this event. Lousiville, George Mason, Georiga North Carolina, Arkansas, just to a name a few, were at this event. I stood right next to Rick Pitino. This event will attract alot of the top teams that didnt make it on the Nike or Adidas circuit. The top event in the South. This event will be hel at Emory University.
SUPER 6 SHOWCASE JULY 17-19
This will be another big event in 2nd live period. This event will be held at Emory University. If you looking for an event with plenty of college coaches, this is the event. Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas teams will be in this event.
POWER 24 JULY 24-26
Why go to Lousiville or Las Vegas when you can stay right here in the A? Atlanta will be another hotbed for the last live period of the year. The shoe circuits will be over and AAU is not as hot as it use to be. Dont be surprised this event sells out.
