We are less than a month away from the tip off of the frantic summer live period. The spring events, made us wanting more for the summer. After the camp circuit ends this month, its back to the AAU/Grassroots season. Here is a look at the top 10 events this upcoming summer. When July arrives, I will breakdown all the events in each live period.

1. NIKE EYBL (JULY 6-10 AUGUSTA), ADIDAS GAUNTLET (JULY 6-9 SPARTANBURG,SC), UAA FINALS (JULY 13-16 CARTERSVILLE,GA)

Which shoe circuit is the best? Which shoe circuit has the best players? As the kids text these days, IDK.  All 3 shoe companies are constantly battling for the top spot. Adidas and Nike ,have been going at it for about 20 years, since the Nike All American/ ABCD Camp days. UAA has been surging the last couple of years, especially with the prominence of Steph Curry. UAA has put themselves on the front line. While Nike and Adidas will be within hour away from each other, UAA All American camp will be going on in Charlotte. These shoe companies will always be number 1 on this list because the best players and best teams are in these leagues. My opinion on what leagues are the best, 1.EYBL 2.UAA 3.GAUNTLET

2. LAS VEAGS FAB 48 ( JULY 20-24 LAS VEGAS)

This is one of the best tournaments all year. Teams are placed in divisions based on talent and records. Fab 48, is the best of all the Las Vegas tournaments.

3.BEST OF THE SOUTH (JULY 14-17 SUWANEE,GA)

I can remember when this tournament barely got any press. Eric Eleton and Suwanee Sports Academy, has redefined the game of grassroots basketball. Best of South, will have the top teams in the country at their event. Most of the Nike teams will be at this event

4. LAS VEGAS CLASSIC (JULY 20-24 LAS VEGAS)

Last year, this tournament had over 900 teams in it. Most of the West Coast Nike teams attend this event. This event also has the 8. 8 NBA players that run AAU programs,square off against each other.

5. SUMMER JAM FEST (JULY 15-17 JERSEY CITY)

The top East Coast event of the summer.

6. ELITE 32 SESSION 2 (JULY 8-10 COBB CIVIC CENTER)

Shun Williams and On the radar hoops put on 2 great events this past spring. Alot of the UAA teams will be in this event.

7. ADIDAS SUMMER CHAMPIONSHIP (JULY 20-24 LAS VEGAS)

Adidas ends the summer with their signature event.

8. PEACH STATE SUMMER SHOWCASE (JULY 14-17 AUGUSTA)

Dameon Key and My lineage of champions, are always putting on great events. Most of the Adidas teams will be at this event.

9. HARDWOOD CLASSIC (JULY 21-24 KANSAS CITY)

Kansas City has become a hot bed in the last evaluation period. This event continues to attract the top midwest teams to KC. Great event.

10. AAU GOLD SHOWCASE (JULY 20-24 ORLANDO)

The gold showcase, will have the top teams throughout the East Coast.
