- Cary Cougars basketball
The Cary Cougars basketball program is a competitive basketball organization based out of the Triangle area of North Carolina. Our teams have been made up of players from Wake, Johnston, Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, even from as far away as Cumberland County. Our coaches are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of basketball, life lessons, and how to win. Over the past three seasons, the Cougars have won numerous tournaments at the 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U levels. In 2010, the 17U Cary Cougars finished runner-up in the national tournament, one year after the 16U team finished runner-up at the AAU State Championship and lost in the Final Four at nationals. Basketball Heights, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping area student-athletes become well-rounded citizens, providing financial assistance for camps, academic support, test preparation, and other needs. The non-profit also supports the Cary Cougars basketball organization and its players. No player will be turned away from the Cary Cougars because of financial hardship.
