Florence Sports Academy was established in September 2011. When the vice-president and coaches of FIBASC came to a cross road in our efforts to assist the youth of our community. We deem it necessary to do more for our youth in the area of education while helping them to perfect their athletic skills. This has led us to establish a new organization that’s better suited to foster the education of our players. Florence Sports Academy is designed with the mindset that academics and athletics go hand in hand.
Our primary goal is to assist these student athletes in maintaing and improving their GPA while giving them opportunity to excel on the basketball court. What we care most about is giving these youth the chance to excel in life. Our commitment to doing everything possible to further our student athletes academics is what sets us apart from other organizations in this field of endeavor. Florence Sports Academy is family-oriented and operated in Florence, SC. by a Board of Directors. We treat every student like they were a part of our family. Other organizations may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch.
