The South Charlotte Heat is committed to offer both male and female student athletes the opportunity to improve their basketball skills at a higher level of competitiveness. The South Charlotte Heat will strive to develop the total player while stressing academics, responsibility, and strength of character, sportsmanship and fair play. The South Charlotte Heat will continue to provide to its student athletes the platform to showcase their basketball skills at national and regional tournaments, which include AAU and other prestigious tournaments throughout the country. The South Charlotte Heat will also provide its student athletes the very best coaching by utilizing their connection with the local high school coaches. We will also offer coaching clinics from top College and High School coaches. The South Charlotte Heat Basketball Club is registered with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) as part of the Charlotte, North Carolina Association. The South Charlotte Heat is also members of the Kid Safe program where every coach is fingerprinted and processed through the NC State Police.
