The Forest City Heat basketball club was established in 1998 by Larry Ross. Larry is currently and has been the head women's basketball coach at East Rutherford High school sinces 2003. He started the Heat program to provide boys and girls the opportunity to develop their basketball skills and increase their self -confidence while they compete across the country. Heat players must learn to balance their responsibilities of school, family, and community involvement. We have young men and women presently playing in college and professionally in the NBA, Overseas, and the NFL. We have also won several national championships and have won a state championship each year of our existence
