ICC (Integrity, Character and Commitment) Truth was founded in 2006 after Lawrence Lewis and Elyette Clyburn (co-founders) became frustrated with the level of structure through basketball skills on and off the court. As a result ICC (TRUTH) was formed to equip and instruct young men and women with a knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of the game of basketball that are transferable into life skills. With Jesus anchored as the center of the program and having committed coaches we have seen grades improve, social and emotional development improved and self awareness has increased. As a part of ICC Truth it is expected that our young men and women volunteer as a way to reach the communities we live in. To date we have volunteered in Rochester Clean Sweep, Jordan Health Centers lead testing week, and the public market ventures to help support our local farmers and vendors. The future vision of ICC is to one day own a gym/ facility with computer labs, tutoring and mentorship programs where we promote productive members of the Rochester community and society as a hold.
