College Bound Student Athletes was founded on the principals of connecting education with sports in order to assist children in western Maryland. Through participating in the CBSA organization our student athletes will learn the dedication and hard work that is needed to be a successful student athlete. Educational achievement will be stressed by all coaches and monitored by all students maintaining a 2.5 or higher grade point average. To ensure that this is occurring each student on our 15, 16, and 17 u teams must turn in pinnacle reports every two weeks to their coaches. All players on our younger team will have to turn in academic progress reports to their teachers once a month. Any player that is unable to maintain a 2.5 will be offered help from a peer tutor. Any student unwilling to accept this help will be unable to play on our teams. Being successful in the classroom is not an option for any player on our teams. Athletically all teams will be coached by experience, dedicated coaches who look to enhance each players strengths and develop their weaknesses. All players will have the opportunity to work with our speed and agility coordinator Charlie Thomas and also with our strength and conditioning coordinator Wayne Stuphin.
