The mission of the Southern Maryland Flyers Basketball Organization is to provide an opportunity for players of all abilities to develop their overall basketball game and increase self confidence, by creating an environment where they can learn, grow, improve individual skills, develop character and compete against the best athletes in the region, state and nation, while balancing the needs and responsibilities of family, school, and community. We are here to create opportunities and provide a supportive environment to facilitate academic and athletic success. The Southern Maryland Flyers Basketball Organization is committed to preparing, developing and nurturing the full academic and athletic potential of every student athlete who participates in our basketball program. We will accomplish this through comprehensive instruction, demonstration and parental interaction. In addition to accomplishing our mission, we will continually strive to: Provide a safe and healthy environment. One conducive to growth… Assist in the development of our male student athletes into great young men. Provide our student athletes with great and competitive basketball experiences.
