Virginia Venom Travel Basketball is a nonprofit organization created to offer talented and motivated players a chance to play against other competitive teams. Players have opportunities to improve their individual skills and learn team strategy with an emphasis on the dedication and perseverance needed to play competitive sports. Although the goal of each outing is to win games, the focus is on learning how to win games as a team. Practices play an especially important role in Travel sports, since it is during those times that a great deal of work toward achieving individual and team goals gets accomplished. With the help of motivated coaches and volunteer parent coaches, we hope to provide an intensive learning experience that will be both challenging and fun. Venom Basketball strives to give our players the most exposure to assist them in getting seen by College coaches.
