The Mississauga Minor Basketball Association (MMBA), home of the Mississauga Monarchs, is a registered non-profit organization,offering a variety of basketball programs and camps for Mississauga children and teens. The MMBA is proud to be the only official affiliate basketball program for the City of Mississauga, and has been in business for 29 years.

The MMBA is one of the largest community basketball clubs in Canada and is located in the Mississauga Hershey Centre Sportszone building, a multi-sports complex where MMBA has preferred program reservation access to the triple gymnasium facility for its basketball programs. MMBA also offers a number of programs at schools, and community centres throughout Mississauga all year long.

Whether a first-timer, an avid player, or an athlete with goals of playing basketball at university or college, MMBA has programs suited for all skill levels and interest. We are committed to making our programs fun, rewarding, and engaging.

Program areas of focus are:Development Programming, Monarchs Basektball Leagues, and Rep. In addition, the MMBA also offers camps during March Break and Summer as well as special event programming.

IMonarchs Development programs encourage skills development and game play for beginner and intermediate players. This programming is suited for ages 4 - 18 and is geared towards enabling players to develop skills necessary to advance to participating in a league.

Monarchs Basketball Leagues give players an opportunity to play and develop their game in a league format. The leagues include 3on3, 4on4,, Monarchs HighSchool Boys Varsity, Monarchs Girls Leagues, and CityLeagueHoops.

REP (Travel Teams). are competitive travel teams that play other clubs in the GTA under Ontario Basketball Association FIBA rules. Several of these teams also play throughout the summer in the US at AAU tournaments.

All programs are delivered through experienced coaching staff and volunteers.

The Mississauga Minor Basketball Association (MMBA) is a not-for-profit organization delivering the most complete basketball programs in Mississauga. Our programs ensure that all children and youth in Mississauga that want to play basketball have that opportunity. Whether a child is bouncing their first basketball or an athlete on their way to college or university, our staff and volunteers, work with parents, players and community partners to make the experience fun, rewarding and engaging.
