The Georgia Heat Basketball Association was formed to create a safe environment for kids to learn the sport of basketball and to grow as individuals. We thank you for taking the time to learn about our organization. We believe in developing basketball players and quality people. We have a passion and love for the game of basketball.
We have invested a lot of time and effort into developing the program and we intend on continuing to grow the organization for years to come, by adding quality coaches and teams at different age levels. It is our goal to make the program as affordable as possible and work with each individual based on financial needs.
We are a 501(C)3 club, which means that all fees, fund raisers, and corporate donations are spent on the players. No board member or coach receives any compensation.
We ask that every player and parent bring a positive attitude to the program. We are devoted and committed to putting together the best possible team for our organization. We expect the best effort every time you step in the gym. We always demand respect towards the coaches, parents, teammates and all others involved.
Mission

The mission of the Georgia Heat Basketball is to provide the youth with the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of basketball at a highly competitive level. We offer a program, which will develop and improve individuals as well as team skills, promote good sportsmanship, and team spirit.
The Georgia Heat demands a high degree of ethical conduct by all its coaches, players, volunteers, and parents so that it provides a good example for the community, opponents, and its participants, thus helping their growth to adulthood.
