In youth basketball, there are competitive arenas like Amateur Athletics Union (AAU), Youth Basketball of America (YBOA), USBA, Hoopseen and Halftime Sports that sanction exhibition games in a tournament format . These organizations host basketball tournaments weekly, on the weekends in most cases Friday night, two games on Saturday, and the semi-final and championship games on Sunday.These organizations also hold local events (i.e., Super Regional Basketball Tournaments, State Basketball Tournaments) that qualify teams for the National Basketball Tournament/Event. These national events are scheduled to occur in June, July or August and consist of top finishers or teams from other states. They are usually held in Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, and several other states. TNBC CLUB teams compete in these events throughout the basketball season.
