Sheldon Heat Basketball Organization is a non-profit 6th grade boys youth basketball team established in 2012. Our goal is to teach young boys the importance of hardwork and discipline on and off the court. Along with developing the boys athletic skills our #1 priority is academics. We strive for excellence in the classroom by communicating with teachers, monitoring grades online and encouraging players to attend tutoring even if that means missing practice.
The team also participates in volunteer work in the community. Last year we teamed with Meals on Wheels to teach the boys the importance of helping others and giving back. We are currently doing numerous fundraisers to help with a long tournament season which includes three out of town tournaments(New Orleans, Dallas and San Antonio). In addition to fundraisers we are asking for donations to assist with out of town expenses. All donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to help invest in the future atheletes of today.
