Sports are said to be a microcosm of the greater world at large, but at FAST, we view basketball as much more than simply a reflection of today's society. To us, the sporting world is not static in its ability to mirror life outside the arenas of athletic competition, but instead, fosters the type of personal growth necessary to drive societal change and ultimately make this world a better place. As the future leaders of tomorrow, we see the innate value in the lessons of today. We further recognize that our on-court successes and failures teach us more than simply how to win basketball games, but instead, help instill in us the values of hard work, dedication, humility, thankfulness and sportsmanship that are ever-present in youth sports.
