The purpose of 707's Finest AAU Program is to initiate, stimulate, and improve opportunities for amateur basketball competition and to promote and develop leadership, sportsmanship, fitness, and athletic excellence. It is our desired goal to direct our young athletes in striving for excellence both on the court and in all areas of their life.
We believe that building strong character, personal accountability, loyalty are key elements in building the physical, emotional and social well being of our young men. This measure of excellence would also include developing a sense of citizenship, community responsibility, and dedication to sportsmanship and fair play.
This measure of excellence requires that all players are students first, and are progressing satisfactorily toward graduation. The progressive development of our players as individuals as well as a team is critical to a successful AAU team. We are committed to teaching our athletes the fundamental art of basketball. Basketball is more than a game of physical strength; it is a game that also requires critical thinking skills.
