Started by coach Joe Fuca, the Lakeshow basketball program (high school) grew a little bit stronger whenit merged with MVP Flight youth basketball program (3rd - 8th grades) in the spring of 2008. Both programs are highly regarded as two of the better basketball programs in the Bay Area. The combination of the two programs gives the kids a complete program for them to grow throughout their younger years thru high school.
The Lakeshow AAU Basketball program consists of select 15, 16, 17/under & senior teams that selects players from all over the Bay Area to compete in various elite-level exposure tournaments throughout the country. Most importantly, competing on this team will give kids the opportunity to play in front of hundreds of college scouts.
The MVP Lakeshow High School program is an invite only tryout system. We don’t publicize our tryouts and we use a reference only system. Only High School coaches, College coaches, current and past players, and their families can invite players to come to our tryouts for our teams. This usually helps us find the right type of players on the court and the right character on and off the court. We will only have one team for each grade. 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th (Spring only).
