EVENT INFORMATION

The King of the South is the nation’s premier tournament in the mid part of June. This is a perfect chance for travel teams to celebrate the start of summer in a highly competitive atmosphere. The King of the South is designed to provide travel teams and their players an opportunity to play great competition, gain national exposure, and team/player ranking opportunities by Indi Hoops. Teams are guaranteed at least 3 games and the format is pool play into bracket play.

Play to Stay:

All out-of-town teams must stay in tournament approved housing. For your convenience we have negotiated reduced rates with hotels within close proximity to tournament gyms. 

Team Check-In

Teams can check in before your first game at any of the game venues on Saturday to receive coaches bands. All coaches and/or team directors must report to the Tournament Desk (given location) before 2 p.m. on Saturday with birth certificates, grade reports, completed team rosters for team verification.

Game Times:

Day One: 8:00 am – 10 pm

Day Two: 8:00 am -5 pm

Admission:

Adults – $15.00 each day, 

Students – $10.00 each day; 

Kids – 5 & under free
